On 4-21-06, 2 children die and their mother is in critical condition in an Augusta, Ga burn center after an early morning fire at their residence on Tupperware Rd., just West of Hemingway.

Williamsburg County Fire Department's stations 4(Stuckey), 5(Muddy Creek), 6(Nesmith), and Hemingway Fire responded the the blaze at approximately 1 a.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Williamsburg County Sheriff's Office and South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division.
