On April 17, 2008 WCFD responded to a call of a structure fire on St Patrick Rd off of White Oak Rd in North Central Williamsburg County. First units on scene reported heavy fire from a double wide mobile home.

Stations 3 (Cooper Bros.), Station 6 (Nesmith), HQ Station, Station 10 (Central) responded with South Lynches Fire Dept called for mutual aide.
