Illegal Burn of Mobile Home on Eastland Ave., Kingstree

WCFD received a call of a mobile home on fire on Eastland Ave. north of Kingstree. Upon arrival of units on scene found this call to be a illegal control burn by the land owner. The landowner had not made the proper notification and obtain the correct permits needed to do such burn. When it was determined to be illegal, units were advised that the fire had to be put out.

Kingstree Fire was called for mutual aide, and assisted in the extinguishment of the fire.

HQs & KFD responded with all other stations alerted being cancelled by command.
