Around noon on December 1, 2007 units from WCFD and WC EMS responded to a reported single vehicle MVA with roll-over down a bridge embankment on Hwy 377 (Martin Luther King jr Hwy) about 3 miles south of Kingstree.

First fire unit on-scene reported a single vehicle down a bridge embankment, rolled on it top with entrapment. Aggressive extrication was used to reach patient. Upon reaching patient EMS determined the patient to be deceased.

Service 1 (HQ), Engine 8, and WC EMS Medic 4 remained on-scene for approximately 1hr and 15 mins.

Scene was turned over to SCHP for further investigation.
