On 1-28-07, a two-car collision on Epps Rd just East of Kingstree city limits leaves 2 dead on-scene and 1 who dies later at hospital.

The wreck occurred around 7:15 p.m., with units arriving on scene within a few minutes to find a two car MVA.

A 16 year old male and a 3 year old female where found DOA. Extrication was performed on the vehicle, which was on it's side, to remove the driver. Another infant who was found outside the vehicle; along with the driver; were quickly rushed to Williamsburg Regional Hospital where they were airlifted out.

The driver who was extricated died a few days later.

HQs Station (Service 1) responded and remained on scene while SCHP did their investigation..
